How tight should quad skates be?
Lacing (for quads and inlines) should be firm but not so firm that your feet go numb. To correct this issue try loosening your laces and don’t tie them up so tight. For inline skaters don’t overtighten the ladder on your skates. You should be able to comfortably bend your knees without too much restriction.
Do pro hockey players wear socks?
Are skate socks necessary to play hockey? Absolutely not! Many players, including myself, go barefoot in their skates for a variety of reasons.
Can I practice roller skating at home?
You can practice at home in front of the TV by standing on one foot and shifting your weight over that foot until your nose, navel and toe is all in line and you can stand this way for a while. Once you can do it on one foot, shift to the other and work on that one.
Is it easier to skate on quads or inlines?
